(Recently i decided to add a gallery feature to the site, after getting quite annoyed at social media algorithms. Here’s an excellent excuse to use it)

In Summer 2024 i went on a trip to the Farrow Island, a small archipelago of rocky islands located in the middle of the North Atlantic, somewhere between Iceland and Scotland.

I don’t think ive ever felt so much in the middle of nowhere, yet the environment was absolutely breath-taking: Below you will find a selection of pictures from the trip.
(The highlight is, obviously, the IRL Skyrim cow)

I am a terrible photographer, but i hope they convey some of the vibes.

I would strongly recommend going if you get the chance, but i should warn you: There is not a whole lot to do outside of the capital city of Tórshavn, so i hope you like hiking in nature :) The weather is extremely unpredictable, windy, and wet, hence the quite gloomy and dark tone in the photos. Despite going there in July, it was quite cold (around 4°C).

Its definitely more of an adventure, than a place to relax, but i think its worth it.

Enjoy :)
